Twin MML 7 racks in the left and right arms, each fitted with an Artemis IV fire-control system, form the core of its firepower, backed by a Plasma Rifle in the right torso and a Medium Pulse Laser in the head. An ER Small Laser sits rear-facing in the left torso alongside a C3i computer and CASE. The type carries enhanced communications gear and wears light ferro-fibrous armor over a 240 light fusion engine, ten double heat sinks drawing off waste heat. Gibson Federated BattleMechs builds the Infernus at its Gibson plant, with additional production at Terra.
