The DMO-5K is a 40-ton brawler, a 3062 rebuild of the 3053 DMO-1K, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86. Where the DMO-1K carries an SRM 6 in the right torso, this variant fields a C3 master computer in that location, giving up short-range punch for networked targeting. The ER PPC in the left arm and the pair of medium lasers in the right arm carry over from the original. It keeps the same low, hard-to-target silhouette and remains a maintenance-intensive design, built by Luthien Armor Works at Luthien.
