Daikyu DAI-03

The Daikyu DAI-03 is a 70-ton skirmisher, a 3067 rework of the 3055 DAI-01 that trades that sniper's cluttered arms for a leaner strike loadout. Where the DAI-01 packed twin Ultra AC/5s and an ER PPC into the left arm alongside an LRM 5 and medium laser in the left torso, the DAI-03 carries a single ER PPC in the left arm, an ER medium laser in the right arm, and an MRM 20 in the left torso. A standard light fusion engine replaces the DAI-01's extra-light unit while holding the same cruising speed of 54 km/h and top speed of 86, and ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the original. The heat-sink count rises from 11 to 14 double sinks, and Luthien Armor Works builds the type at Luthien.
