Recognition notes
The Daikyu DAI-02 is a 70-ton heavy that reworks the DAI-01 sniper into a closer-fighting skirmisher, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86. Where the DAI-01 carried twin Ultra AC/5s and an LRM 5 alongside its ER PPC, the DAI-02 keeps the ER PPC in the left arm but replaces the autocannons and missile rack with a pair of Streak SRM 6 launchers, one in each torso, and two ER medium lasers in the left torso. A C3 slave unit joins the CASE installation in the right torso, and the heat-sink count rises from 11 to 16 double sinks. Luthien Armor Works builds the type at its Luthien plant.
