The Cougar C is a 35-ton brawler, cruising at 54 km/h and reaching 86 km/h, where the Prime configuration fights as a sniper. In place of the twin Large Pulse Lasers and the pair of LRM 10 racks, this configuration mounts a Gauss Rifle in the left arm, four ER Medium Lasers in the right arm, and a fifth ER Medium Laser in the head. The 175 XL fusion engine, endo steel structure, and ferro-fibrous armor carry over from the Prime. Ironhold Alpha Complex builds it at Ironhold, with Olivetti Weaponry also producing the type.
