Buccaneer BCN-6W

The BCN-6W is a 55-ton missile boat, a 3073 field refit of the 3055 BCN-3R that trades the earlier skirmisher's laser-heavy loadout for three MML 5 launchers, one in the right arm and one each in the left and right torsos. A lighter 275 XL fusion engine replaces the original's 330 XL, and cruising speed falls from 65 km/h to 54, with a top speed of 86 km/h versus the BCN-3R's 97. Standard armor plating replaces the ferro-fibrous plating of the original, and a C3i computer occupies the right torso in place of the Artemis IV fire-control system. The hatchet in the left arm carries over unchanged. As a field refit, it is assembled at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
