Brigand LDT-XPR5

The LDT-XPR5 is a 25-ton striker built for close-in work, a 3076 rework of the 3065 LDT-1 that trades reach for a simpler, more uniform weapons fit. Where the LDT-1 carried a pair of ER medium lasers and a pair of medium pulse lasers, this variant mounts four plain medium lasers, one in the left arm, two in the right arm, and one in the head. The lighter 125 XL fusion engine and composite internal structure replace the LDT-1's 150 fusion engine and endo steel frame, and cruising speed falls from 65 to 54 km/h while top speed drops from 97 to 86; jump range grows from 180 to 240 metres. The design is noted as easily serviced, and Vengeance Incorporated builds it at its Tortuga Prime plant rather than the Haven Star Cluster line of the original.
