Recognition Notes
The Brigand LDT-5 is a 25-ton striker that trades reach for speed against the 3065-era LDT-1. A 175 XL fusion engine lifts its cruising speed from 65 to 76 km/h and its top speed from 97 to 119 km/h, with jump range extending from 180 to 210 metres. Where the LDT-1 fielded twin ER medium lasers in the arms and medium pulse lasers in both torso sides, the LDT-5 strips the arms down to a single mace in the left arm and consolidates its beam armament into three plain medium lasers, one each in the left torso, right torso, and center torso. It is built by Vengeance Incorporated, now at its Tortuga Prime plant rather than the Haven Star Cluster line.
