Blackjack (OmniMech) BJ2-OE

The Blackjack BJ2-OE is a 50-ton sniper that fights at long range, an alternate configuration of the same chassis fielded alongside the BJ2-O brawler variant, introduced in 3059 against that config's 3057. Where the BJ2-O carries twin Ultra AC/5 autocannons and four medium lasers across both arms, the BJ2-OE mounts a Light Gauss Rifle in the right arm and pairs an LRM 10 with an ER Large Laser in the left arm. An ER Small Laser sits in the center torso, and the four machine guns of the base configuration's torsos are absent here. Cruising speed, top speed, and jump range match the base configuration's figures of 43 km/h, 65 km/h, and 120 metres. Luthien Armor Works produces the type at Luthien, with additional production at Irian, Shiro III, St. Ives, Warlock, and New Valencia.
