Blackjack (OmniMech) BJ2-OD

The BJ2-OD is a 50-ton brawler alternate configuration of the Blackjack, trading the BJ2-O's paired Ultra AC/5s and machine guns for an energy-heavy loadout. Where the base configuration mounts twin Ultra AC/5s across the arms with a medium laser in each and a machine gun in both torsos, this configuration carries a PPC and Medium Pulse Laser in the left arm, a Large Laser in the right arm, a Medium Pulse Laser and Medium Laser in the left torso, and a Small Laser in the center torso. The double heat sink count rises from 10 to 13 to cope with the shift to energy weapons. Cruising speed holds at 43 km/h with a top speed near 65, and the jump range stays at 120 metres. Luthien Armor Works builds it at Luthien, with production also carried out at several other sites.
