Barghest BGS-7S

The Barghest BGS-7S is a 70-ton heavy that fights at long range, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86, a field refit that pulls the chassis away from the direct-fire sniping of the 3058 BGS-1T. Where that original carried an ER Large Laser and an LB 20-X AC, the BGS-7S fields an MML 7 in the left torso alongside a Light PPC and a Medium VSP Laser in each side torso, with a rear-facing Medium Pulse Laser in the center torso and an ER Flamer in the head. Light ferro-fibrous armor replaces the base model's standard plating, and the heat-sink count rises from 10 to 12 double. As a field refit it carries no single manufacturer, being assembled at various sites rather than a dedicated production line.
