The Avalanche AVL-1OB is a 50-ton skirmisher, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86, with a single jump carrying it 150 metres. Where the AVL-1O base configuration carries a pair of ER medium lasers in each arm, this configuration mounts a Light PPC alongside a single ER medium laser in each arm. In place of the base configuration's LRM 10 in each torso, it fields a Thunderbolt 5 in the left torso and another in the right. CASE lines the right torso, as on the base configuration. Luthien Armor Works builds the type at Luthien.
