Recognition Notes
The AF1D configuration fields the 30-ton Arctic Fox as a stand-off missile boat, where the base AF1 configuration fights as a close-in striker. In place of the medium laser in each arm this configuration carries an LRM 10, each fitted with an Artemis IV fire-control system, and the ER PPC and paired SRM 4 racks of the base configuration are absent entirely. Cruising speed holds at 65 km/h with a top speed near 97 km/h on the shared 180 XL fusion engine. The chassis carries the same fragile head as the base configuration, and Arc-Royal MechWorks builds it at Arc-Royal.
