Aquagladius AQS-4

The Aquagladius AQS-4 is a 50-ton striker built for close-in fighting, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out at 97. Where the 3065 AQS-3 carried a BattleMech Taser in the left arm and a flail in the right arm, this 3066 rework replaces both with energy weapons: a Large X-Pulse Laser fills the left arm and four ER Medium Lasers cluster in the right arm. The underwater maneuvering units and HarJel systems in the left and right torsos carry over from the AQS-3, but the center torso keeps only its HarJel system while separate underwater maneuvering units appear in each leg. Both machines share the same maintenance-intensive design, and Vining Engineering and Salvage Teams builds the type at Solaris VII.
