Anubis ABS-5Z

The Anubis ABS-5Z is a 30-ton striker that closes to short range, a role shift from the ABS-3L missile boat of 3063. Where that earlier machine carried a single ER small laser and a pair of LRM 5 racks, the ABS-5Z fields an ER medium laser in each arm and a Streak SRM 4 in each torso, with a TAG unit in the head. A smaller 210 XL fusion engine replaces the ABS-3L's 240 XL, dropping cruising speed from 86 to 76 km/h and top speed from 130 to 119. Stealth armor and the maintenance-intensive character of the design carry over from the earlier model, and the ABS-5Z remains built by Detroit Consolidated Mechworks, now at its Krimari plant rather than Detroit.
