Viking IIC

The Viking IIC is a 90-ton assault that fights at long range, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out near 54 km/h, sluggish for its weight class. Its main battery pairs LRM 20 racks in each arm with LRM 15 launchers in both torsos, all four tied to Artemis V fire-control systems, while a pair of ER Micro Lasers rounds out the torso mounts and four Machine Guns, two to a leg, cover the close approach. CASE II lines both torso sections, and Inner Sphere hardened armor wraps an endo steel frame cooled by 11 double heat sinks. The arms are minimal weapon pods without hands, and the type is known as a maintenance-intensive design. Arc-Royal MechWorks builds it, with production also carried out at Grumium Creations' facility.
