The Venom SDR-9KB is a 35-ton striker that fights close-in, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130. Where the SDR-9K base configuration mounts a Medium Pulse Laser in the Left Torso and another in the Right Torso alone, this configuration pairs the Right Torso Medium Pulse Laser with a Machine Gun in the same location, keeping the Left Torso Medium Pulse Laser as well. Its jump range of 180 metres falls short of the base configuration's 240, and it carries 13 single heat sinks against the base's 12. Both configurations share the 280 XL fusion engine and ferro-fibrous armor. Nimakachi Fusion Products Limited builds the type at Lapida II, with production also at Tematagi.
