Valiant VLT-3E

The Valiant VLT-3E is a 30-ton striker, cruising at 76 km/h and topping out at 119. Where the 3068 V4-LNT-K7 carried a hatchet in the left arm and MASC in the center torso for a sprinting burst, this 3098 rebuild strips both and fits a Fluid Gun in the left arm and a Light AC/5 in the right, backed by a targeting computer in the right torso. The three ER medium lasers in the left torso, right torso, and head carry over from the original. A 210 XL fusion engine replaces the standard 210 fusion plant, composite internal structure replaces the standard structure, and heavy ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating. The type still carries a fragile head, and Johnston Industries builds it at Addicks.
