Recognition Notes

The Typhoon TFN-3M is a 90-ton fighter flown in the attack role. Where the TFN-2A carries two large lasers and a PPC in each wing, the TFN-3M drops one large laser from each wing and replaces the other with an LRM 20, leaving a single PPC and an LRM 20 on the right wing and the same pairing on the left wing. The LRM 15 in the nose carries over unchanged from the TFN-2A. Heat sinks fall from 26 to 22 single heat sinks on the lighter loadout, and the fighter keeps standard armor. Lockheed/CBM Corp. builds it at Donegal.
