Troika CMT-7T

The Troika CMT-7T is a 65-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, keeping the CMT-3T's nose-mounted LRM 20 but stripping out the wing armament that once defined the type. Where the CMT-3T carries an ER PPC and an ER Medium Laser in each wing, the CMT-7T mounts a single Large Re-engineered Laser in the right wing and another in the left wing, and adds a Medium Re-engineered Laser in the aft position that the earlier fighter lacked. The nose also gains a Beagle active probe in place of the CASE the CMT-3T carried in the fuselage. Heat sink count falls from 17 to 13 double heat sinks, and both fighters share the same Ferro-Aluminum armor and XL engine. Detroit Consolidated AeroSpace builds the type at Detroit.
