Recognition Notes
The Trident TRN-3U is a 20-ton fighter flown as an interceptor, carrying the same medium laser in the nose, a medium laser in each of the right wing and left wing, and a small laser in the aft that the TRN-3T mounted. The change from the original lies in the plate itself: the TRN-3U wears standard armor in place of the TRN-3T's ferro-aluminum. Ten single heat sinks cool the type. It is a field refit rather than a factory design, assembled at various sites rather than a dedicated plant.
