It carries the same pair of Light Machine Guns in the front and the rear-mounted Lift Hoist found on the base JI-50, and its BAR 6 Armor and fusion engine match the original as well. The distinction is one of origin rather than hardware: this example comes from a field refit rather than from Johnston Industries' New Syrtis line, assembled at various sites instead of a single factory.
