Recognition Notes

The Thunder Fox TFT-L8 reworks the chassis as a 55-ton skirmisher, trading the TFT-A9's long-range sniping fit for a stand-off punch. Where the original carries an ER Large Laser, a Streak SRM 4, and an ER Small Laser in its left torso, the TFT-L8 fields two Snub-Nose PPC there instead, and an LB 10-X AC replaces the Light Gauss Rifle in the right torso, which no longer carries CASE. A 275 XL fusion engine replaces the 220 fusion unit, raising cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, and jump range grows from 90 to 120 metres. The design remains an easily-serviced machine, built by Defiance Industries at Hesperus II.
