Thug THG-13K

The Thug THG-13K is an 80-ton assault brawler, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65, the same pace as the 2572-vintage THG-11E it rebuilds. Where the original paired a PPC in each arm with twin SRM 6 racks in the torsos, this configuration drops the SRMs entirely and fields a Heavy PPC in the right arm, a second Heavy PPC in the left torso, and a third in the right torso, while the left arm carries two Medium Pulse Lasers in place of its old PPC. A lighter 320 XL fusion engine replaces the standard 320 fusion plant, and the heat-sink count falls from 18 to 16 doubles. A C3i computer sits in the center torso, and the CASE installations in both torsos are gone along with the SRM ammunition they once protected. The type keeps its rugged, field-serviceable frame, and Maltex Corporation builds it at Errai.
