Recognition Notes
The Thrush TR-9 is a 25-ton fighter flown as an interceptor, rebuilding the TR-5 around an XL engine and reflective armor in place of the earlier fusion plant and ferro-aluminum plate. Where the TR-5 carries a single medium laser in the nose and one in each wing, the TR-9 mounts an ER medium laser in the nose, with a Medium Re-engineered Laser and an ER medium laser in the right wing and the same pairing in the left wing. The type runs ten double heat sinks in place of the TR-5's ten single heat sinks. Mujika Aerospace Technologies builds it at St. Ives, with a second line at Tikonov.
