Recognition Notes
The Spad SPD-504 is a 30-ton fighter flown as a fast dogfighter, all its armament clustered in the nose. Where the SPD-502 mounts a PPC, a medium laser, and a small laser, the SPD-504 replaces them with a Heavy PPC and two ER small lasers in the same position. The switch to an XL engine accompanies a change from standard armor to ferro-aluminum plate, and ten single heat sinks give way to ten double heat sinks. New Age Systems Inc. builds the type at Terra.
