Silver Fox SVR-5Y

The SVR-5Y is a 35-ton striker, a 3067 rework of the 3065 SVR-5X built around a lighter 245 light fusion engine in place of the original's 315 XXL fusion engine, cutting cruising speed from 97 to 76 km/h and top speed from 151 to 119 km/h. Its five Magshot cannons in the left arm and twin ER medium lasers in the right arm carry over from the SVR-5X, along with the ER small laser in the head and the targeting computer in the center torso. Where the SVR-5X carries an Angel ECM suite in the right torso, this configuration mounts a Guardian ECM suite in the same location. The head remains a noted weak point on the frame, and Innovative Design Concepts builds the type on Solaris VII.
