Shilone SL-17X

The Shilone SL-17X is a 65-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, where the base configuration is built for fire-support. Where the base configuration mounts an LRM 20 in the nose, this configuration carries an Improved Heavy Gauss Rifle in the nose alongside the Large Laser also found on the base configuration. The Medium Lasers in the right wing and left wing are Medium Pulse Lasers on this configuration, and a chaff pod sits aft in place of the base configuration's SRM 4. Armor changes from Standard to Ferro-Aluminum, and cooling is handled by ten double heat sinks rather than the base configuration's twenty single heat sinks.
