Recognition Notes
The SHY-5B rebuilds the Shen Yi around stand-off missile fire, where the SHY-3B of 3086 fought as a brawler. In place of the ER Large Laser and paired Medium Pulse Lasers in the right arm, this configuration carries a single Large Laser, and the MRM 20 racks in each torso give way to LRM 20 launchers in the same locations. The heat-sink count falls from 14 to 12 double sinks. The Guardian ECM suite in the left arm carries over from the SHY-3B, and the type retains its fragile head. Hellespont 'Mech Works builds it at Sian.
