Recognition Notes
The Seydlitz SYD-45X "Starling" is a 25-ton fighter flown as an interceptor, five tons heavier than the SYD-21 it refits. It swaps the SYD-21's nose-mounted Large Laser for a Bombast Laser in the same nose position, and mounts a chaff pod in the aft, equipment the SYD-21 never carried. The airframe replaces the original's Fusion engine with an XXL unit and trades Standard armor for Heavy Ferro-Aluminum plate. Ten double heat sinks cool the design, an improvement over the SYD-21's ten single heat sinks. The Shipil Test Facility Hades refit is built at Skye.
