Scarabus SCB-9A

The Scarabus SCB-9A is a 30-ton scout that fights close in, cruising at 108 km/h and topping out near 162, brisk for its weight. Its left arm carries a pair of medium lasers and a pair of small lasers, while a TAG unit rides in the head and a Guardian ECM suite sits in the center torso. The right arm mounts a hatchet in place of a ranged weapon, and the chassis has a rugged, field-serviceable frame. Ferro-fibrous armor and an endo steel structure keep the design light on its 300 XL fusion engine. Coventry Metal Works builds the type at its Coventry plant.
