Sabutai B

The Sabutai B is a 75-ton fighter flown in the fire-support role, fought at long range with missile fire rather than the base configuration's gauss and PPC fire. Where the Prime configuration mounts a Gauss Rifle in the nose, this configuration carries an LRM 20 alongside a Large Pulse Laser, a TAG, a Narc Beacon, and an ER Small Laser. Each wing trades its ER PPC and Large Pulse Laser for a pair of LRM 20 launchers, and the aft mount carries a single Medium Pulse Laser in place of the twin ER Small Lasers. CASE sits in the fuselage instead of the nose, and a rear-mounted ECM suite covers the aft arc; the type runs cooler on 15 double heat sinks against the Prime's 21, and its Ferro-Aluminum armor and XL engine carry over.
