Regent C

The Regent C is a 90-ton assault that fights at long range, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out near 54, sluggish for its bulk. Where the Prime configuration mounts a mixed battery of ER large lasers, medium pulse lasers, a Streak SRM 4, an LB 20-X AC, and a Micro Pulse Laser, this configuration carries just two long-range guns: a HAG/40 in the left torso and an Improved Heavy Gauss Rifle in the right torso, built on the same Clan chassis but drawing on mixed Inner Sphere and Clan technology. It carries 10 Clan double heat sinks against the Prime's 19 double, and it does not carry the Prime's CASE II protection in the left torso. Like the Prime, it is built as an easily-serviced design, and Coventry Metal Works produces it at Coventry, with production also at Savannah.
