Raptor RTX1-OB

The Raptor RTX1-OB is a 25-ton striker built for close-in work, cruising at 76 km/h and topping out near 119. Where the RTX1-O base configuration spreads its firepower across twin medium lasers, twin small lasers, three LRM 5 racks and a pair of machine guns, this configuration strips the loadout down to three SRM 6 launchers, one each in the left torso, right torso, and center torso, with a single Small Laser in the right torso. The result trades the base configuration's stand-off missile fire and light laser screen for a concentrated short-range punch. Like the base configuration, it runs an XL fusion engine on endo steel structure with double heat sinks, and it carries the same easily-serviced design. Luthien Armor Works builds it at Luthien.
