The Preta C-PRT-OB Infernus is a 45-ton medium built as a sniper, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97, with a single jump carrying it 180 metres. A Heavy PPC in the right arm delivers its main punch at range, backed only by an ER Medium Laser in the head for closer trouble. A C3i computer sits in the center torso, tied to enhanced communications gear, letting the Infernus feed targeting data into a linked formation rather than fight alone. Endo steel structure and standard armor keep the weight down for the engine and weaponry carried. Gibson Federated BattleMechs builds the type at Gibson, with production also at Terra.
