Penthesilea PEN-3H

The PEN-3H is a 75-ton juggernaut, a 3129 rework of the 3083 PEN-2H that trades reach for a close-in brawl. Where the PEN-2H carried an ER PPC and Light PPC in the left arm and an LB 10-X AC in the right, this configuration fields a Medium VSP Laser and Light AC/5 in the left arm and a Bombast Laser with Medium Laser in the right, and the single ER Medium Laser of the base model gives way to a trio of Light Machine Guns spread across the left torso, right torso, and center torso, plus a Light Machine Gun Array in the center torso. A lighter 225 compact fusion engine replaces the 300 fusion engine, dropping cruising speed from 43 to 32 km/h and top speed from 65 to 54 km/h while jump range holds at 90 metres. Light ferro-fibrous armor replaces the base model's ferro-fibrous plating, and the heat-sink count falls from 13 to 10 double sinks. The type keeps its rugged, field-serviceable frame, and Majesty Metals and Manufacturing builds it at Dunianshire.
