Patton Tank (XL)

The Patton Tank (XL) is a 65-ton tracked combat vehicle built for the brawler role, cruising at 43 km/h and reaching 65 at top speed. It swaps the base Patton's Small Laser at the front for a Medium X-Pulse Laser, and its turret trades the Autocannon/10 and LRM 5 for an Ultra AC/10 and an MML 5, with the Flamer still covering the rear arc. The turret adds an Artemis IV FCS, and the hull carries CASE and a targeting computer, none of which the base Patton mounts. Ferro-Fibrous armor covers the hull in place of the base model's Standard plate, and an XL engine replaces the Fusion engine, all on a hull that keeps its low, hard-to-target silhouette. Defiance Industries builds the type at Hesperus II.
