Ostwar OWR-3M

The OWR-3M is a 65-ton heavy that fights close-in, a 3075 rebuild of the 2470 OWR-2M with the same weapon placements but modernized systems throughout. Where the OWR-2M carried plain SRM 4 racks in each arm, the OWR-3M mounts Streak SRM 4 launchers in the left and right arms, and its twin Medium Lasers in the left torso become ER Medium Lasers. The LRM 20 in the right torso remains but now fires through an Artemis IV fire-control system, with CASE installed in both the left and right torsos. A Guardian ECM suite sits in the center torso, a stronger 260 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, and light ferro-fibrous armor plating replaces the OWR-2M's primitive plating, backed by 12 double heat sinks in place of the earlier 12 single. The design remains an easily-serviced machine, built by Ronin Incorporated at Wallis.
