Recognition notes

The Ostrogoth D is a 75-ton fighter fielded for long-range fire-support, contrasting with the base configuration's role as a fast dogfighter. Where the base configuration spreads an LRM 15 and three ER medium lasers across each wing with a further ER medium laser in the aft, this configuration carries a Gauss Rifle and an LRM 20 in the nose alongside the ER PPC, leaving both wings bare. The nose here carries CASE and an Artemis V FCS, where the base configuration fits an Artemis IV FCS in each wing; CASE also sits in the fuselage. The targeting computer sits aft, rear-mounted, where the base configuration mounts it in the nose, and a rear-mounted Watchdog CEWS occupies the aft position held by a rear-mounted ECM suite in the base configuration. Eleven double heat sinks cool this configuration against fifteen in the base configuration. Tseng Facility builds the type at Alshain.
