Omega SHP-5R

The Omega SHP-5R is a 150-ton sniper, a Terran refit of the 3076 SHP-4X that keeps the same 300 XL fusion engine and the pair of LB 10-X AC in the arms while replacing all three Gauss rifles with Heavy PPCs in the left torso, right torso, and center torso. Standard internal structure replaces the endo steel framing of the original, and the heat-sink array grows from 10 single to 23 double, a shift toward managing the heavier energy loadout. In place of the SHP-4X's C3i computer, this refit carries a Guardian ECM suite and a C3 slave unit in the center torso, with CASE II retained in both arms. It cruises at 22 km/h and tops out near 32, unchanged from the original's plodding pace, and is refitted by Skobel MechWorks at Terra.
