The No-Dachi NDA-1K is a 70-ton brawler that closes to short range behind a mixed spread of missile and energy fire. Twin MRM 20 racks fill both torsos, backed by an SRM 4 in the center torso and an SRM 2 alongside an ER PPC in the left arm, with a Medium Laser mounted in the head. The right arm carries a sword instead of a conventional weapon, worked by hyper-extending arm actuators built into the limb. Triple-Strength Myomer and a 350 XL fusion engine push the machine to a boosted cruising speed of 76 km/h under combat heat, well above its normal 54 km/h cruise and 86 km/h top speed. Cosby BattleMech and Myomer Research Firm builds the type at its Vega plant.
