Nexus II NXS2-B

The Nexus II NXS2-B is a 25-ton scout that trades some of its earlier firepower for reconnaissance gear, arriving in 3067 as a rework of the 3066 NXS2-A. Where the NXS2-A carried an ER medium laser and an ER small laser in each arm, the NXS2-B strips the small lasers away and leaves a single ER medium laser per arm, adding a TAG unit in the head. A Beagle active probe fills the left torso and a Guardian ECM suite the right torso, alongside the C3i computer in the center torso, and stealth armor replaces the standard plating of the original. The type cruises at 86 km/h and tops out at 130, with no jump capability noted in this configuration. Skobel MechWorks builds it at Terra.
