Lynx LNX-8Q

The Lynx LNX-8Q is a 55-ton skirmisher that fights at stand-off range, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86, the same pace as the 2761 LNX-9Q it succeeds. In place of the ER PPC in the right arm it carries a Large Laser, and the medium laser once mounted in the left torso and the one in the center torso are missing, leaving a pair of medium lasers in the left arm and a Large Laser in the right torso. A standard fusion engine replaces the LNX-9Q's extra-light unit, and single heat sinks replace its double heat sinks; the jump jets are not fitted. Blue Shot Weapons builds the type at Solaris VII.
