Longshot LNG-4

The LNG-4 is a 35-ton striker that fights close in, cruising at 76 km/h and topping out near 119, a 3068 rebuild of the 3054 LNG-1B. Where the LNG-1B carries a Narc in the right arm, this version drops it and fields no arm weapon at all, and both SRM 6 racks are replaced by Streak SRM 6 launchers, one in each torso. The Medium Laser and Small Laser in each torso give way to a Medium X-Pulse Laser and Small X-Pulse Laser, mounted in the same left torso and right torso locations. It runs on a 245 XXL fusion engine in place of the LNG-1B's XL unit, and it remains a maintenance-intensive design. Innovative Design Concepts builds it on Solaris VII.
