Recognition notes
The LGN-2D is a 50-ton striker built on the same 350 XL fusion engine and endo steel frame as the LGN-1X, cruising at 76 km/h and topping out near 119. Where the LGN-1X carries a Rotary AC/2 alongside a pair of ER medium lasers in the center torso, the LGN-2D fields a single Rotary AC/5 in the right torso and drops the twin lasers entirely. The left torso keeps a targeting computer but no longer carries the Beagle active probe mounted on the LGN-1X. It remains an easily-serviced design, built by Achernar Battlemechs and also produced by Albion Advanced Technologies and Products, Corean Enterprises, and Protectorate Military Industries at other sites.
