Recognition Notes
The Lancer LX-3 is a 50-ton fighter flown as a fast dogfighter in the close-in fight. A large VSP laser sits in each wing, right and left, giving the pilot a matched pair of direct-fire guns. A Guardian ECM suite rides in the nose, and ten double heat sinks cool the airframe, which carries standard armor. Gutierrez Aerospace builds the type at Trellisane, with production also at Ellsworth.
