Koto KTO-3A

The KTO-3A is a 25-ton striker, a 3062 rework of the 3052 KT-P2 scout that trades reconnaissance for closer firepower. Where the KT-P2 carried a machine gun in each arm, the KTO-3A mounts a medium laser in the left arm and another in the right, backing the Large Pulse Laser retained in the center torso and the Small Laser still in the head. The right torso CASE installation of the KT-P2 does not appear on this configuration. Cruising speed holds at 86 km/h with a top speed of 130 km/h on the same 200 XL fusion engine, and the ferro-fibrous armor and endo steel structure carry over unchanged. Omnitech Industries builds the KTO-3A at its Solaris VII plant.
