Hatamoto-Kaeru HTM-35X

The Hatamoto-Kaeru HTM-35X is an 80-ton brawler running a 320 XL fusion engine over composite internal structure, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65, slow for its weight, with a jump range of 120 metres. A Snub-Nose PPC sits in each arm, and a Medium Laser sits in the center torso. Each side torso carries an LRT 15 and two Medium Lasers, and an SRT 4 rests in each leg. Underwater maneuvering units occupy both torsos, and a MechWarrior aquatic survival system sits in the head. Ferro-fibrous armor covers the frame, and the type is noted as a maintenance-intensive design. Maltex Corporation performs this refit at its Unity factory.
