Deathstalker XF-78

The Deathstalker XF-78 is an 80-ton fighter flown in the attack role, rebuilt on an XL engine in place of the F-77's fusion plant and clad in Vehicular Stealth armor rather than standard plate. The nose Autocannon/10 gives way to a single Improved Heavy Gauss Rifle, and each wing drops its paired ER Large Lasers and Medium Laser for one Large X-Pulse Laser, so the six wing-mounted weapons of the F-77 fall to two. The nose station adds CASE II and a Guardian ECM suite, and the type runs eighteen double heat sinks against the F-77's twenty-five. Andurien AeroTech builds it at Andurien, apart from the F-77's Westover line.
