The Crossbow CRS-9A is a 60-ton skirmisher rebuilt from the 2468 CRS-X missile boat, trading that design's paired Medium Laser and LRM 5 racks in each arm for a Streak SRM 6 and an ER Medium Laser per arm, with an ER Large Laser standing in for the original Large Laser in the right torso. A 300 fusion engine replaces the CRS-X's 290, lifting cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h. Ferro-fibrous plating replaces the base model's primitive armor, and the heat-sink count moves from 10 single to 10 double. Arcturan Arms performs the rebuild at its Refit Facility on Arcturus.
